Merchandise purchased on the website may be returned within seven (7) days of receipt. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition—unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged—with tags and original packaging included. If your return does not meet the conditions listed, the package will be returned to you. Damaged returns will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer. Returns for manufacturing defects will only be accepted.
Mar de Marías, owned by Maria Del Carmen Durán Caicedo, is responsible for the shipping costs associated with the return of products.
Please note that discounted and reduced-price items, as well as personalized items, cannot be returned.
In the event that Mar de Marías ships an incorrect product, or the product has quality defects, we will exchange the product and cover the shipping costs for the exchange. Shipping costs are non-refundable; the customer must send the defective product to an address provided by Mar de Marias, owned by Maria del Carmen Duran, for evaluation. Mar de Marías will not refund the amount due to the product being manufactured and customized to the size. Refunds will only be issued in exceptional cases of non-compliance with the terms agreed upon in these terms. To guarantee free return shipping, the customer must use only Envía (envia.co) or Inter Rapidísimo as the shipping method, using the cash-on-delivery option. If this company is not used, Mar de Marias, owned by Maria del Carmen Duran Cicedo, will not cover the shipping costs. To file a claim, the customer must submit a claim request by sending an email to Contacto@mardemarias.com or WhatsApp +57 3227646467, through which all instructions for carrying out this process will be provided.
Refunds
Once you receive your package, please allow three (3) to seven (7) business days for your return to be processed. Once your return has been accepted, your refund will be issued and you will receive a confirmation email.
The time required to process your refund may vary depending on the payment method used.
Credit Card: Our bank will refund you within seven (7) business days after the return acceptance confirmation email. The time it takes to restore credit to your account depends on the credit card issuer.
Conditions for exchanges or returns
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:
- When the customer requests an incorrect size, color, or model.
- Once the shipping receipt for the product has been received and signed and the product has been verified.
- Products that have been used or altered by the customer.
- Products on sale or at a reduced price cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- Products delivered more than 2 business days ago.
- The products are not in their original packaging.
- When the garment has been mishandled during use or washing by the customer.
These general conditions and all privacy policies and legal information contained herein constitute the express and sole relationship between Mar de Marias, owned by Maria del Carmen Duran Caicedo, and the client.
